Alice Hagemeyer

HAGEMEYER, Alice Rose - Age 88, of Highland, died peacefully at her home, Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Highland Congregational Church, 1605 N. Hickory Ridge Rd, Highland. Dr. Gary Evans officiating. Visitation will be held at he church Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Highland Congregational Chruch. Alice was born September 10, 1925 in Saline the daughter of Oscar and Clara (Bredernitz) Klein. She was a graduate and valedictorian at Saline High School. She retired from Bowling Green State University as the Assistant to the President. She had resided in Highland for the past 12 years with her granddaughter, Amanda and husband Rob Moore, coming from Lake Fenton. Alice was a member of Highland Congregational Church in Highland. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Darlene Lentz of Brooklyn and Sue Ann Houtz of Cygnet, OH; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Clara Klein; 2 sons, James Lee and Robert Lee Hagemeyer; and 5 siblings.
