Alice Mae FARNER

FARNER, Alice Mae -- Age 79, of Fenton/Holly, died June 24, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be 2 PM Friday, June 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Rich Hoffman officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Fenton Alumni Association. Alice was born May 17, 1930 in Fenton the daughter of Cleon "Pete" and Laura L. (Butler) Moorman. She had resided in Fenton most of her life and was a 1948 graduate of Fenton High School. She was a retired cook for the Fenton Schools. Surviving are: four children, David Farner and wife Marcia of Boyne City, Rebecca Farner of Fenton, James Farner of Holly, Laura Farner Rice of Fenton; four grandchildren, Shaun, Emily, Rachel, Jimmy.
