Alice Marie Draheim

DRAHEIM, Alice Marie - Age 67, died Saturday, August 5, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Thursday, August 10, 2006 at St. Robert Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry, Flushing, Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Burial will follow in Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Tuesday and Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A Scripture service will be prayed 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Children's Miracle Network. Mrs. Draheim was born in Pine Run, MI on September 2, 1938 the daughter of Raymond and Beatrice (Creamer) Hect. She had been a resident of the Owosso and Corunna areas most of her life. She married William M. Draheim, II in Owosso in 1976. Alice was a former member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing, former President of the Lennon Lioness Club and former member of Flint Corvette Club. She also was a foster mother and a volunteeer for the Salvation Army in Owosso. Mrs. Draheim always loved helping others. Surviving are her husband, William; 3 children, Douglas of Corunna, Christine (Eric) of Flint and Kevin of Alabama; 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Cathiline, Joel, Tiffany, Kimberly, Anthony and Tyler; 3 sisters, Carol Draheim, Linda Wisner and Bonnie Martin; 8 brothers, Roy, Ralph, Ron, Darwin, Tom, Alan, Gary and Rick; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.
