DEMETER-JOSEPH, Alice M. - Passed October 18, 2014 at the age of 86. Preceded in death by husband John C. Demeter, Sons Thomas M. and John C. Demeter II. Survived by Husband Edward W. Joseph, Son Dennis and Nancy Demeter, Daughter Virginia & Brian Jacobson and many Nieces, Nephews, four Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren. Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. #1 Cheerleader and Fan of all her families endeavors, dreams and aspirations. Veteran mender of scraped knees, bruised egos and broken hearts. Generous provider of inspiration, wisdom and wit. Former nurse, catechism teacher, printing shop manager and expert life counselor. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm. To 2:00 pm. on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A short memorial service will follow.
