COOK, Alice Lillian - Age 82, of Flint, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Jonathan Earnhart officiating. Burial in Bristol Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Alice was born October 13, 1932 in New Haven Township, MI the daughter of Charles G. and Mable (Kilbourn) Cathey. She married Raymond Lee Cook May 28, 1948 in Flint. She had been employed by Kelly Girl Temporary Agency for many years. She was a member of Flint Baptist Temple and was a Girl Scout Troop leader for may years. Surviving are: her husband of 67 years, Raymond; 4 children, William "Ray" and wife Nancy Cook of Flint Township, Robin and husband Carl Tufford of Grand Blanc, Charles Cook of Burton, and Thomas Cook of St. Augustine, FL; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brothers, Dallas and wife Delores Cathey of Swartz Creek and Kenneth and wife Joann Cathey of Swartz Creek; sister, Arlene and husband Eddie Jenning of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Mable Cathey; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Nichols; and brother, David; great-granchildren, Jason Cook and Savannah Tufford.
