WYCKOFF, Alfred D. - age 69, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, August 4, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at 4 PM Monday in Roscommon Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral homes. Mr. Wyckoff was born March 3, 1939 in Prudenville, MI, the son of Alexander and Gladys (Sinclair) Wyckoff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a medic and being discharged as a Sergeant. He married Joann Musgrove on February 25, 1984 in Saginaw. Alfred was a 'world class' die maker and retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc. Surviving are: wife, Joann of Swartz Creek; son, Alfred 'Buck' Wyckoff, Jr. of TX; three brothers, James and wife, Mary of Vassar, Maurice and wife, Carol of Alba, twin brother, Albert and wife, Ann of Grand Blanc; two sisters, Debbie Carroll and husband, Ralph, Janice Phelps and husband, Bob, all of Traverse City; three step-sisters, Rose Mary Welton and husband, Jim of Holland, Marjorie Boyd of New Port Ritchie, FL; step-brother, Jim Monchilov and wife, Gloria of Harrison; many nieces and nephews.
