Alfred August Schabbel

SCHABBEL, Alfred August - Age 95, of Niles, formerly of Linden, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Brentwood Assisted Living. Mr. Schabbel was born November 8, 1911 in South Haven, the son of Herman August and Elizabeth (Knaak) Schabbel. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1939. Mr. Schabbel was employed by G.M. Fisher Body I where he retired in 1972 after 38 years of service. He survived by 2 children, Kirk L. and wife, Kip Schabbel of Fenton, Karen L and husband, Terry Gizzi of Cassopolis; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
