Alex Graham

GRAHAM, Alex Thomas - age 73, of Flint, Township, died March 29, 2023. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Friday, April 7, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 3 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Disabled American Veterans. Alex was born August 17, 1949 in Flint, the son of Dr. Leonard Alex and Claire Amelia (Kluempel) Graham. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Alex retired from the City of Flint in 1994 as a supervisor at the Water Treatment Facility. He then worked preparing taxes for H and R Block and was a Master Tax Advisor. Surviving are: four children, Kimberly Graham Wheat, Dr. Leonard Alex (Christy) Graham, Rebecca Christine (Emmanuel) Thompson, and Melissa Nicole Camphous; eight grandchildren, Taylor Graves, Ashley Graves, Breona Judson, Skyler Gray, Colin Graham, Nathan Graham, Jason Graham, and Brendan Graham; four siblings, Leonard (Sue) Graham, Sally (Bob) Sampson, Mary Gamber, and Marty (Ted) Sczepanski; many nieces and nephews. Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Leonard and Claire Graham;  sister, Suzanne Barber;  fiancée, Sara Cris Gonzalez;  brother-in-law, Paul Gamber: nephew, Nathan Gamber; granddaughter, Makenna Goad; son-in-law, Jeffrey Wheat.
