DURAN Jr., Aleusion, age 63, of Flint, passed away peacefully at his home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 W. Coldwater Rd., Flint. Fr. Cecilio Reyna celebrant. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00-8:00 p.m.; Sunday and Monday 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. A rosary and scripture service will be 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice. Aleusion was born July 25, 1948 in Flint the son of Aleusion and Filomena (Rodriguez)Duran. He married Marcia Molina in Flint on August 22, 1970. Aleusion was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from December 13, 1966 to November 5, 1969. Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years, Marcia K. Duran; mother, Filomena Duran; 4 daughters, Tina (Eddie), Laurie (Matt), Cyndi (Steve), Monica (Adrian); 10 grandchildren, Alescia and DesRae Munoz, Charlie, Elizabeth, Cameron and Emma Vickery, Brooklyn and Steven Garty Jr., Nevaeh and Leila Sams; 2 sisters, Ulalia (Jeff), Lena (Vic); 4 brothers, Charle (Norma), Felix, Michael (Rosa), Jesus (Vivian), and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Aleusion Duran Sr.; brothers, David and Johnny Duran.
