Alene Wooten

WOOTEN, Alene Edna (Wilson)- Age 85, of Flint, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at her home.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Sunday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Monday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Mt. Morris, MI 48458.  Mrs. Wooten was born November 19, 1921 in New Market, AL, the daughter of Charlie Thomas and Millie Elizabeth (Wiseman) Brady.  She married Charles F. Wilson in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1986, she then married James T. Wooten October 22, 1986 in Flint.  She was a Hairdresser in the Flint area for over 30 years.  She was a member of Mt. Morris Church Of Christ and was a former member of Averill Avenue Church Of Christ for many years.  Surviving are: husband, James T. Wooten; 3 sons, Robert E. Wilson of Bay City, Gary G. and wife Barb Wilson of Flint, Paul and wife Bev Wooten of Goodrich; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful companion, Benji.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles Daniel Wilson; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
