Alberta Snell

SNELL, Alberta  Age 70, of Flint, died Thursday, June 10, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Chaplain Georgia V-Brewer officiating. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mrs. Snell was born September 19, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of Chester and Flossie (McGathy) Evans. She married William L. Snell and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2001. Mrs. Snell retired from Fisher Body. She was a very hard worker and loved gardening and crossword puzzles. Surviving are: five children, Connie D. Butler of Newberry, Janet and husband, David Carey of Swartz Creek, Susan and husband, Tom Chambers of Newberry, Steve and wife, Cindy Snell of Flushing, Brenda and husband, Matt Kunkle of Flint; six grandchildren, Fred Butler and wife, Karen, Jason Livingston and wife, Kristi, Kevin and Lia Snell, Taylor and William Kunkle; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Megan and Ethan; two brothers, Ed Evans and wife, Pat of Fenton, Al Evans and wife, Carol of Swartz Creek; sister, Sandy and husband, Stan Pruett of Flint; two sisters-in-law, Gerry and husband, Bill Miller, Betty Snell.
