WALTER, Albert James Jr. --- Age 68, passed away October 2, 2016 at Regency of Grand Blanc. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday October 7 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3132 Hogarth Avenue, Flint. Fr. Anthony Strouse celebrant. Interment at St. Robert Catholic Cemetery, Flushing. Visitation will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Family and friends will gather at the church at 10 AM until the time of mass on Friday. Albert was born August 8, 1948, in Flint, to Albert and Beatrice (Robinson) Walter. He married Linda Sue Vincent on September 21, 1968 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, where he was a member. Albert was an employee of General Motors for 30 years. He enjoyed going to car shows, listening to classic country, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He also took great pride in his truck. Albert leaves to cherish his memory three children: Wendy (James) Sagamang of Flint, Steven (Jennifer) Walter of Swartz Creek and Adam (Charice) Walter of Burton; six grandchildren: James, Logan, Jasmine and Gabrielle Sagamang and Alison and Lilliann Walter; sisters Neva Cook and Ann Schlosser; brothers Roy, Robert and Victor Walter; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Albert was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, and his parents. The family would like to thank Regency for their kindness and support throughout this difficult time.
