PROSSER, Alan James  Age 56, of Flushing, died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at IHS Riverbend. A celebration of life service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America. Mr. Prosser was born January 13, 1949 in Flint, the son of Harold and Zola (Belyou) Prosser. He was a 1967 graduate of Flint Central High School. He also graduated from Michigan State University where he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Fraternity. Mr. Prosser owned and operated Duffys Bar for many years. He enjoyed all outdoor activities but especially enjoyed special times with his children and family. Surviving are: two children, Erin and Jonathan Prosser of IA; sister, Patricia Prosser of Orleans, MI; aunt, Katherine Thurston of Lansing; sister-in-law, Marilyn Prosser of Orleans, MI; many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; many special friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, David Jerry Prosser.
