Alan Ray Delisle

DELISLE, Alan Ray  age 60, of Gaines, died Friday, September 9, 2005, at Genesys Health Park.  Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Visitation will be held 12-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Delisle was born on August 31, 1945 in Flint, the son of George and Dorothy Delisle. He married Sharon Reed on March 13, 1965. Mr. Delisle was employed at Buick as a press operator for 41 years. Mr. Delisle was a member of the UAW Local #599 and the also the Navy Reserve for 28 years. He loved hunting and fishing and having fun with his grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Sharon of Gaines; son, Tim (Michelle) of Lennon; two daughters, Lisa (John) Thelen of Lake Orion and Sandi (Bill) Domzalski of Gaines; mother, Dorothy Olsen of Flint; grandchildren, Trisha, Joey, Cassie, Greg, Darian, and Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Joshua, and Abbie; sisters, Jackie Bates of Flint and Denise (Rick) Feherman of Flint; brother, Rod (Jill) of Gaines; mother-in-law, Vera Reed of Durand; and many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.
