Agnes Torok

TOROK, Agnes Theresa - Age 95, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Funeral mass will be held 10 AM Friday, December 19 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church , 4133 Calkins Road, Flint, Fr. Pierre Bassil celebrant . Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, and one hour before the mass at church on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Our Lady of Lebanon or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Agnes was born February 26, 1919 in Flint, the daughter of Nim and Delia (Safawi) Rashead. She married Frank C. Torok on January 28, 1950 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2002. She attended Our Lady of Lebanon and St. Agnes Catholic Church. Agnes is survived by her children, Frank (Sandee) Torok of Walloon Lake, Philip (Marion) Torok of Burton, Patricia Torok of Huntersville, NC, Kathleen Torok of Grand Blanc, Marty (Jane) Torok of Charlotte, NC, Raymond (Tamyra) Torok of Swartz Creek and Loretta Selke of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Christopher and Jeffrey Torok, Megan Rose, Bernadette Grandinetti, Jeremie and Jessica Torok, Jonathan and Rayanne Torok, Sarah Torok-Glynn and Samantha Glynn; great-grandchildren, Spencer and Lauren Torok, Giavonna Grandinetti, Thomas Rose, Kamrynn Torok; sisters, Helen Joseph and Cecilia Abdella; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Martin Rachid. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank C. Torok Sr.; brothers, Phillip, George and Edmund Rachid.
