Agnes B. Svinarich

Svinarich, Agnes B. - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died July 7, 2024. Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, July 12, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of the Mass at 11 AM on Friday July 12 at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. 

Agnes was born May 7, 1935 in Swartz Creek, Michigan, the daughter of John Durish and Barbara (Nosek) Durish. She was a graduate of Mary Crapo High School in Swartz Creek. She married John E. Svinarich on June 23, 1962; he preceded her in death July 17, 2011. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1985 with 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Swartz Creek Friendship Club and enjoyed playing Bingo. 

Surviving are: son, John Svinarich of Grand Blanc; daughter Pamela (Scot) Metcalfe of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Khrystal Crosno of Arizona, Mollee Cleary of Wisconsin, Chelsea Woodsend of North Carolina, Justin Svinarich of Flint, Tyler Svinarich of Florida, Joseph Svinarich of Grand Blanc; nine great-grandchildren; sister Vickie Hamel. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brother Jerry Durish; and sister Beatrice.
