Agnes K. Pobocik

POBOCIK, Agnes K.  Age 61, of Swartz Creek died Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Select Specialty Care. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Monday, 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Agnes was born September 9, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Anthony B. and Rosie A. (Ach) Pobocik. She was employed by GMSPO for many years as a customer service representative. Agnes was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, the Disability Network Independent Living Center and was a member and past president of the Post Polio Support Group of Greater Flint, along with many other disability organizations. Surviving are: six siblings, Bernard C. Pobocik of Flushing, Michael A. Pobocik and wife, Judy of Mundy Twp., Marion M. and husband, Thomas Turner of Gaines, James J. Pobocik and wife, Debbie of Swartz Creek, Thomas R. Pobocik and wife, Kathy of Flushing, Robert W. Pobocik and wife, Sylvia of CA; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
