Agnes Dunning

DUNNING, Agnes Louise - Age 93, passed away December 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held 1PM Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with interment to follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Agnes was born October 27, 1928 in Owosso, MI, the daughter of Gustave and Pearl Irene (Richards) Strobbe. She was married to Leslie Earl Dunning on February 5, 1949; he preceded her in death on November 16, 2011. Agnes worked at Holly Elementary School as a librarian assistant, Holly Spring factory as a payroll clerk and at-home client bookkeeping. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling. She was a past scout leader, taught Sunday School, was active in church and was the biggest supporter of her children. She is survived by her children, Linda (David) Schofield, Michael (Yvonne) Dunning and Sharon Dismuke; grandchildren, Michelle Ahrendt, Shawn (John) Badal, Nathan Dismuke, Nicole (Clinton) Elliott and Matt Dismuke; eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Pearl Strobbe; brother, Arthur Strobbe and sister, Ruth Senter. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
