Agatha Violet WHITEHEAD

WHITEHEAD, Agatha Violet (Baucus) - age 86, of Linden, died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden with Pastor Steve Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Mrs. Whitehead was born March 23, 1925 in Flint, the daughter of Merritt and Ada (Rose) Baucus. She was married to Russell Whitehead for 44 years, he preceded her in death in 2005. She and her husband owned and operated Whitehead Printing Company in Fenton for 30 years. She had resided in Linden for many years, spending several winters at The Villages in Lady Lake, FL. Surviving are: children, Judy (Jerry) Entrekin, Kelly (Nancy) Whitehead, Keith (Celia) Whitehead; grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, Abria, Kelly, Lindsay, Eric, Scott, Sarah; and several great-grandchildren.
