Adelaide Lanore Collins

COLLINS, Adelaide Lanore -- Age 88, of Fenton, went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at Argentine Care Center. Funeral Services will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Heritage Hills Church, 5530 Runyan Lake Road, Fenton.  Pastors Doyle Dennings and John Vannest co-officiating.  Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held from 5-9PM Thursday, 1-4 and 6-9PM Friday at the funeral home and 10AM till time of service at the church Those desiring may make contributions to the Fenton Free Methodist Church or Argentine Care Center. Mrs. Collins was born March 18, 1915 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Arthur and Amanda (Servin) Forsberg; she had resided in the Fenton area most of her life. She married Emmit Luther Collins on December 4, 1931 in Flint; he preceded her in death November 15, 1974. She was a member and very active with the Fenton Free Methodist Church.  Surviving are: 7 children, Emmit Jr. and wife Eileen of Hale, Victoria and husband Jerry Peisert of Harrison, AR, Betty and husband Wayne Teggerdine of Gaines, Raymond of Swartz Creek, Gary and wife Cathy of Bloomfield Hills, Jerry and wife Ruth of Rochester Hills, John and wife Debbie of Linden; 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
