YELLAND, Aaron Alan - Age 28, of Royal Oak, passed away suddenly Thursday, January 7, 2021. Funeral service will take place 2 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Funeral service will be live-streamed at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will take place 1 PM to 8 PM Wednesday and again 1 PM until the time of service Thursday. Aaron was born on January 24, 1992 in Royal Oak. He proudly served in the United States Army from 2011 to 2016 (Afghanistan from 2012 to 2013). Aaron belonged to the Royal Oak VFW Acorn Post 1669. He loved spending time with his family and most importantly his two daughters. In his free time he enjoyed playing the guitar, going to the shooting range, collecting firearms, welding and tinkering.

He is survived by his Wife, Alexandra Yelland; Daughter, Sofia Streidl; Step-Daughter, Stella Guerra; Mother, Diane (Burley) Good; Father, Timothy (Janette) Yelland; Siblings, Monique (Jose) Valenzuela, Ruthanne Yelland, Jason Yelland, Kristen Good, Katelyn Good and Lauren Good; Nieces and Nephews, Madalynn, Iris, Lillian, Caiden, Noah and Emma; Grandparents, Ruth Striler, Marilyn and Kenneth Yelland; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Striler, Jay Daugherty, Don and Billie McCarrick; his cousin, James Lott Jr. and his best friend (cousin) Eric Ennis. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
