HOGAN, A. Carlene - Age 94, of Linden, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, with a rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until the time of Mass Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society. Carlene was born June 13, 1922 in Linden, the daughter of M. Franklin and Florence (Sage) Stehle. She was married to Woodrow E. Hogan on February 12, 1947 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton; he preceded her in death on December 28, 2009. She was a 1940 graduate of Linden High School. Carlene had been employed by Bell Telephone and Applegate Chevrolet. She is survived by her children, Dennis Hogan of Swartz Creek, Cheryl (Sam) Hubbell of Swartz Creek, Janice (Randy) Hoover of Grand Blanc and Thomas E. (Darcy) Hogan of Linden; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a great great-grandson; cousin, Ceclia Adams of Fenton. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, George.
