BIRMINGHAM, Robert Michael "Mike" - age 59, of Flint, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Fenton Health Care. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mike was born July 9, 1955 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Arnold and Hazel (Brown) Birmingham. He retired from General Motors - Buick Division in 2005 and was a member of the U.A.W. and Atlas Valley Country Club. Mike enjoyed music and playing guitar and he loved his grandchildren. Surviving are: son, Joshua Birmingham and wife, Lisa of Wellington, Florida; four grandchildren, Harrison, Anna Grace, Branden and Alexis; brother, Arnold "Arnie" Birmingham and niece and nephew Taylor and Andrew Birmingham of TN. He was preceded in death by his parents. A gathering will be held at a place to be announced after the funeral service.
