Philip Thomas

THOMAS, Philip, Alan - Age 64, of Wolverine, formerly of Detroit, passed away October 20, 2021. Funeral Services 2PM Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation 11AM until the time of Service at 2PM.

Philip was born August 23, 1957 in Detroit, the son of James H. and Catherine G. (Wathen) Thomas. He graduated from Warren Woods Tower High School in 1975 and attended Michigan State University. Philip was employed as a Master Plumber with Detroit Local #98. He enjoyed music, hunting, motorcycles. Philip loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was a "Momma's Boy!"

Philip is survived by: his children: Jennifer (Neal Caradea) Thomas, Shana (Bennie) Morin, Michael Thomas and his fiancee, Melissa Ricketts and her daughter, Matilda Pettingill, Kaitlin (James) Mancour, and Jason Wanitshka; grandchildren, Skyler, Heaven, Trinity, Shyla, Deonna, Bennie, Calub, Erik, Colton, Preston, Peyton, Jaxson, Iris, Elizabeth, Colin,Tony and Nolan Wanitshka; great grandson, Colton; his mother, Catherine G. Cooley; siblings, Anita Fischer, David Thomas, and Anthony Thomas; several nieces and nephews.
