Naomi Sanders

SANDERS, Naomi G. - Age 88, of Gulliver, MI, formerly of Swartz Creek, passed away January 19, 2020. Memorial Service 4PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation 3PM - 4PM Saturday. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Hospice House of Shiawassee Co. or The Gulliver Historical Society.

Naomi was born June 16, 1931 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Walter and Gertrude (Bush) Moore. She married Robert G. Sanders August 1954. She was employed at the GM Parts Plant. Naomi enjoyed serving as a Tour Guide at Seul Choix Light House in Gulliver, Michigan for many years. She enjoyed collecting Depression Glass and Pottery and belonged to clubs associated with both.

Surviving are: children, Robert Sanders, William (Linda) Sanders, and Lisa (David) Voss; grandchildren, Sarah (Matt) Crosley, and Riley Sanders; siblings, Doris Hall, Walter Moore, Jerry (Yvonne) Moore; sisters in law, Elaine Moore, Kathy Moore; brother in law, Richard (Mary) Sanders; several nieces and nephews.
