Mavis Eads

EADS, Mavis Pauline (Neeley) - Age 79, of Fenton, died Sunday, October 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association. Mrs. Eads was born July 13, 1935 in Clio the daughter of Lloyd and Dorothy (Cheney) Neeley. She married Nelson Eads August 1, 1949 in Middlesburg, KY and he preceded her in death November 11, 2002. She had resided in Fenton most of her life. Mrs. Eads had attended the Freedom Center in Fenton. Surviving are: 5 children, Nelson "Buck" Eads and wife Sylvia of Fenton, Debbye Eads Gillmore and husband Ronald of Houghton Lake, Cindy Eads of Fenton, Teresa Eads Petit and husband Mark of Linden, and Kellie Eads Dennison and husband Brian of Holly; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Neeley and wife Carleen of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Lloyd and Alan Eads; granddaughter, Lindsey Johnson; brothers, Raymond and Bud Neeley; and sister, Shirley Jones.
