Marcos Salazar Jr.

SALAZAR, Marcos Jr.- Age 72, of Lennon, died Thursday February 13, 2020. Funeral Services  will be held 12PM Monday February 17, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Deacon Rod Amon, officiating. Visitation will be held 12PM-8PM Sunday with an American Legion Memorial service at 6PM. Visitation will also be held 10AM until time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Family. Marcos was born February 7, 1948 in San Antonio, TX, the son of Marcos and Maria (Ancira) Salazar. He married Linda Petrucha on March 16, 1968 in Flint. Marcos proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed Golfing, and deer hunting. Marcos enjoyed donating his time with the American Legion Post 294 and with the VFW AMVETS Post 3720.  He was also a member of the Swartz Creek VFW Post 3720 Honor Guard. Surviving are: wife, Linda Salazar of Lennon; daughters, Monica ( Geoffrey "Ben" Chew) Salazar of Pelkie, MI, Staci  (John Watkin) Salazar of Taylor; grandsons, Timothy Salazar and Blake Toby; brother, David (Yvonne) Salazar of Flint and many nieces and nephews.
