Kevin Kirk

KIRK, Kevin William - Age 53, of Fenton, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2020. Private services will take place. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Kevin was born on September 8, 1966 in Flint, the son of Amuel M. Kirk Jr. and Martha J. Prock-Kirk. He graduated from Fenton High School, class of 1984. Kevin and Penny Hammerlein were united in marriage on June 18, 1993 in Flint. He worked for Dust Busters in Burton. Kevin was a loving husband and father, who loved to spend time with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening.

He is survived by his loving wife, Penny L. Kirk; daughters, Karen M. Hammerlein, Danielle B. Hammond and Nichole A. Kirk; grandchildren, Zachary Powell, Keiren Cartstenson, Keighlee Cartstensen, Rylee Maddock, and Lily Ann Veselsky; step-mother, Kathleen L. Kirk; sisters, Cynthia A. Harless, Suzanne R. Erickson and Kimberly K. McNamee; nephews, Matthew Harless, Kirk Patrick McNamee and Stephen M. Kirk Jr.; and nieces, Megan McNamee and Jennifer Stevens.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Martha J. Prock-Kirk; father, Amuel M. Kirk Jr.; brother, Stephen M. Kirk; grandmother, Clara Kirkpatrick-Kirk; grandfather, Amuel M. Kirk; and nephew, Ryan Labine.
