CARPENTER , Joyce Carol "Jay" - Age 75, of Flint, died November 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Steven Wood officiating. Committal services will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Friday, 10 AM - 1 PM Saturday. Joyce was born on December 17, 1938, the daughter of Frank and Goldie (Burch) Rivett. She married Dick Carpenter on January 2, 1959 in Flint. She is survived by her husband, Dick; daughter Tracey (Dan) Malin of Flushing; sister, Glennie Benz of Swartz Creek; niece, Melody Starr (Fred) Bedore of Swartz Creek, Shirley MacGarvey of Flint; nephew, Mike (Louann) Benz of Houghton Lake; several great nieces and nephews.
