Evangelos Douros

Douros, Evangelos A. - Age 87, of Flint Township, died June 7, 2020. Private funeral services will be held  at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Evangelos  was born May 12, 1933 in Thiva, Greece the son of Athanasios and Maria (Kalatzi) Douros. He married Angeliki Christoudouli. She preceded him in death September 15, 2014. He retired from General Motors. He enjoyed gardening. He enjoyed his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.  He was devoted to his wife Angeliki. Mr. Douros was selfless, always putting others first. Surviving are: two children, Marianna (Kostas) Koutsopoulos. Nikolas Douros; four grandchildren, Evanthia (Anthony) Hensley, Christos Koutrouvidas, George Koutsopoulos, Angie (Mike) Cannon; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lainey.
