David Waite

Waite, David E. - Age 79, of Flint, died February 5, 2023. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. David was born November 21, 1943 in Greenfield, MA, the son of Henry and Ruth (Taylor) Waite. He was a veteran in The United States Army. David married Kathleen Bastic on June 11, 1988 in Flint. He worked at Baker's Shoes and also Sam's Club. David was a shenanigator. He sang with Norton Male Chorus. David loved softball and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; 5 children, Shirley Shinabarger, Emily (Rusty) Waite, Joshua (Christina) Kudlaty, Jacqueline (Timothy) Carr, Cynthia (Zeb) Shaver; 17 grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Nicole Waite; sister, Sandy Simmons; sister-in-law, Sharyn Waite.
