SCHWARTZ, Christopher Michael - Age 35, of Fayetteville, NC formerly of Grand Blanc, died Monday, October 21, 2019. Services will be held 3 PM Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Nikolai Schwartz Education Fund. Chris was born May 25, 1984 in Flint, the son of Michael M. and Suzanne (Klein) Schwartz. He was a 2002 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. He attended Central Michigan University. He completed 4 years with the US Army during which he served 1 tour in the Middle East. Chris was currently enrolled at Methodist University in Fayetteville successfully pursuing a Nursing Degree. Surviving are: his son, Nikolai Schwartz; mother, Suzanne Klein Schwartz of Alpena; father, Michael M. (Rochelle) Schwartz of Williamsburg; fiancee Savannah Gillette of Grand Blanc and her 3 children, Cassidy, Ryder, and Esther; brothers, Michael J. (Anna) Schwartz of Warrenton, VA, Brian M. (Heather) Schwartz of Florida, and Christian D. (Gina) Gibbs of Missouri; grandparents, Jack and Jeanne Klein of Alpena; Aunts, Connie Hockersmith and Natalie Brock; uncles, Robert (Lynn) Klein and Larry Schwartz; nephew, Alexander (Elizabeth) Schwartz and nieces, Alyssa M. Schwartz and Juliette Schwartz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nathan J. Schwartz and Lorraine Young; cousins, Michael and Josh Hockersmith.
