Bobbie Griffin

GRIFFIN, Bobbie Nell - Age 75 of Roscoe, IL passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, January 8 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment in Flint Memorial Park . Visitation will be held 10 AM - 1 PM Thursday, January 8. Bobbie was born on October 30, 1939 in Osceola, Arkansas to James Lewis and Annie Mae (McGill) Turner. She is survived by her sister Ruth Inez Pankey, daughter Ann (Mike) Donnelly, son Daniel (Pamela Edgar) Leddick, daughter Carolyn (John) Donovan and preceded in death by son Ronnie Griffin. Bobbie also had several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Bobbie enjoyed going to church on a weekly basis where she became one with God and was saved. Some of her hobbies were watching the Food Channel, old time movies and shopping. We would like to thank Rockford Supportive Living for the excellent care and service they provided her in the several years at the assistive living facility. We would also like to thank the PCT/ Nursing staff on the 7th floor at Swedish American Hospital for the outstanding care and compassion you provided our mother in her final days. Both facilities went over and above and for that we thank you.
