Barbara Neville

Neville, Barbara Ann - Age 85 of Grand Blanc, died Monday, February 21, 2022. A private service will be held.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.  Barbara was born March 16, 1936 in Vancouver, WA, the daughter of Cliff and Wilma (Coburn) Wallace. She graduated valedictorian from Utley High School, Flint, Mich., and completed her registered nursing degree from Mott Community College, Flint, Mich. Barbara started her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital, Flint, Mich., then transferred to Flint Osteopathic Hospital where she worked many years before retiring. Barbara started playing piano at 5 years old. At age 12, she played piano every Saturday on local radio prior to her weekly piano lesson. She continued to play piano and entertain until she passed. She had tremendous love for her family and her cats. She is survived by her four children: James (Debi) Neville of Davison, Janet (Tom) Johnson of Burton, Mark (Denise) Neville of Grosse Pointe Shores, and Pamela Schoemer of Ortonville; grandchildren: Jason, Eric, Amy, T.J., Jenifer, Charles, Michael and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Savanna, Brooklyn, Harper, Ethan, Emma, Wyatt, Addilynn, Sadie, Alexa and Audrey; several nieces and nephews.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; both brothers, Bob and Chuck; sister, Charlene; son-in-law, David Schoemer; grandson, Corey; and longtime companion, James Alexander. Private family services for Barbara will be held at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Grand Blanc, MI.
